Grace Lutheran School offers classes from Pre-K through 8th Grade. When you send your child to Grace Lutheran, don't let go of your child, grow with your child. Our teachers work closely with parents in a Christian family environment to encourage total growth -- spiritual, academic, emotional, physical and social.

These early years form the basis of your child's future growth. Teachers and parents agree each child's needs are different. The curriculum for Pre-Kindergarten through Second Grade stresses socialization and listening skills which prepare children for solid progress as they advance through school. Their activities at this level build important foundations for future reading skills, Christian values, moral standards, and academic needs. Appropriate play experiences contribute to the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development of the child.

Both teacher and child go beyond the textbook during the middle grade years. Children develop organizational skills and good study habits as teachers highlight these study aids in their daily lesson plans. These skills are developed in self-contained classrooms before advancing to departmental classes in the middle school grades.

A time to learn. A time to grow. A time to change. Your child is indeed growing up and going through changes now. Sixth graders at Grace remain in the self-contained classroom setting where we reinforce all organizational skills and study habits they learned during the middle grade years. These skills become increasingly more important because our middle school curriculum increases to include more activities to help children develop the important outlooks about themselves, friendship and Christian responsibility. Departmental classes highlight the Seventh and Eighth grade years.
