"The Study of the Old Testament"
Class expectations

Bring to class each day; Workbook, Bible, pen or pencil for writing and a red pen for grading .

Have all assignments done and in class when they are due.

Late assignments are not generally accepted. However if there is a valid reason, as determined by Mr. Cypher, then appropriate additional time will be granted.

Students are responsible for two memory assignments a week. Generally on Monday their Victory verse is due and on Friday their memory assignment from the work book is due.

Students are expected to participate in class discussions.

Procedures for Memory Assignments;

Written in cursive handwriting.

Written in blue or black ink.

Written on a clean sheet of paper, not torn out of their notebook.

Proper heading containing student's first and last name, date, and title of memory assignment.

At the end of the quarter students will be given a final memory test each grading period covering selected memory verses from their Friday assignments as well as all Victory Verses for the quarter.
Grading Procedures

Each lesson receives two grades, the first for completing the assignment on time, the second is for the correctness of the answers.

Lowest grade that is figured into an average is a 50%. The only exception to this is a grade of 0 which is given for assignments that are not turned in or completed on time.
