Middle School (6-8 Grade)

      Middle School

The middle school years can be stressful for both students and parents as they enter this next step in the educational ladder.  Therefore the staff and faculty of Grace Lutheran work hard to create an educational and social environment to “bridge” the transition from the elementary grades to the middle school level.  Beginning in the 5th grade, students are placed in our “bridging program”, designed to introduce them to organizational and note taking skills needed during their middle school years.

The middle school curriculum includes the following courses of study:

  • Mathematics- General Math; Advanced
  • American History – 1900 to the present; World History; Geography
  • Religion
  • Language Arts
  • Science – Earth; Biology; Physical
  • Foreign Language: German or Spanish
