Dr. Ellen BrusickSubject: Principal Degrees: BA in Education from Concordia Teachers College, River Forest IL; , MA in Education from Concordia; Ed. D. in School Administration from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. Experience: After graduation from CTC in 1965, I was placed at the brand new Grace Lutheran School in Huntsville, Alabama, the "boom town" working on putting a man on the moon. After 6 years of teaching in the Lutheran System and 13 years of teaching with the Huntsville Public Schools, I was appointed principal of Whitesburg Elementary School in 1985 and then transferred to Jones Valley Elementary in 1997. I retired in 2006, volunteered and traveled for a year, and then joined Grace's faculty in 2007. So, I'm right back where I started from, and very happy to be! Interests: Huntsville history, traveling and tourism; Bible teaching, tennis (?), attending community events, reading, gardening. |
